CDPR has shared a new statement on the delay for Cyberpunk 2077, confirming that it is ready for PC and next-gen, but not for current-gen consoles.
In a teleconference call after the delay of Cyberpunk 2077, which has been pushed from its November 19 release date to December 10, CD Projekt Red’s CEO Adam Kicinski has shared a comment on the state of the delay.

According to Adam, “the situation is different” now compared to the previous deadlines for the game. The game is ready to be played on PC and it also works well on next-generation consoles, however, the problem lies with the current-generation consoles. CD Projekt Red is still finalizing the process concerning the release of the game on the current-generation consoles.
Despite being so close to the official release date of the game, there is still no footage shown from the PS4 and Xbox One version. Almost every footage that has been shown so far is from the PC version, which has led some people to ask questions regarding the status of the PS4 and Xbox One version.

Adam also said that the game could be released on November 19. “Realizing on November 19 is possible and was possible, ” said Adam. They had to delay the game since “having these three more weeks gives us a chance to fix this and that.”
Cyberpunk 2077 will be out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia on December 10. It was originally set to launch in April and was delayed to September shortly afterward. The second delay pushed it to November with the latest delay making the release date jump to December 10.
