Gods and Monsters is a brand new IP that Ubisoft revealed at their E3 2019 press conference. It is from the development team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Gods and Monsters will be a storybook adventure featuring a forgotten hero that ventures on a quest to find and save the Greek Gods. It is a reverse God of War where you journey to kill the various Gods. The art style is reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda series while the concept feels similar to God of War series.

Ubisoft debuted the cinematic trailer for Gods and Monsters at E3 which unfortunately doesn’t contain any gameplay segments.
Gods and Monsters will set the player on a journey to take down Typhon, the deadliest monsters in this fantasy world. You can encounter tricky puzzles, mysterious dungeons, and perform various heroic feats along the way. While the main theme is to save the Gods, there will be mythical beasts along the way. Gods will also grant the hero various powers to defeat them.
Gods and Monsters will be out on February 25, 2019. It is confirmed to launch on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
