If you are sensitive to spoilers, it is best to avoid Monster Hunter Rise on social media because Amazon has shipped copies of the game early to some buyers.
Reports are emerging from some users on Twitter and over at the Monster Hunter subreddit that suggests that Amazon has shipped the retail copies earlier than the launch date, which was on March 26. This means that there are users out there with full access to the game which is obviously going to lead to spoilers being posted online.
As is the case with such early shipped copies, spoilers are bound to be out in the wild and there is a report suggesting that the final boss has been leaked on the game’s subreddit and other discord channels. Obviously, this is far too early for something like that to leak, but if you want to keep it a surprise, it is best to lay low for now especially from social media platforms.
If you want to give the game a chance before buying it, there is a demo available to play on the Nintendo Switch that has been updated from the January release to add a new monster quest in addition to offering the previously released content. The full game is set to launch on March 26, 2021, and will also get post-launch support with updates that will add new content beginning in April.
Monster Hunter Rise is currently confirmed for the Nintendo Switch and PC. While it is releasing this year on the Nintendo Switch, the PC version will be released in early 2022 and launch on Steam.
