Nintendo Switch Firmware Update 10.0.3 Is Out, Here’s The Changelog

Nintendo Switch firmware update 10.0.3 has been released today. This update seems to implement some system stability improvements.

Nintendo Switch’s latest system software update has been released ahead of the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. It is a remake of the first Xenoblade game that also comes with new story content connecting it to. potential sequel in the future. The game is set to launch on May 27.

Nintendo has a tendency to launch a new system software update next to its major first-party game releases. They did it with Animal Crossing New Horizons and they are doing it again with the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.

Nintendo Switch firmware update 10.0.3 doesn’t appear to add any meaningful new features. The changelog merely mentions that it is another firmware to improve the general system stability.

  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

Aside from that, there doesn’t appear to be any major change included in this new firmware update. There might be more fixes or improvements made under the hood but so far nothing of this nature has been discovered, or verified by other users. Normally, if such an update fixes a bug, Nintendo usually shares the fix in the changelog, but it is not the case here.
