In a somewhat unusual move from Sony, they have changed the PS Plus games lineup on the exact same date when it was supposed to go up, and replace Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 with Detroit Become Human.
Earlier last week, Sony confirmed that PS Plus July 2019 games lineup for both Asia/Japan and Europe/America will include Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. This has been replaced now starting today when the games were supposed to go up on the PlayStation Store. The game will be replaced with Detroit Become Human and not just the regular edition but the Digital Deluxe version, which also included Heavy Rain.
The official PlayStation Blog posted an update to confirm the change along with the following message.
Update: We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July. This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain, to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Here’s more information about Detroit: Become Human, which will be available to PS Plus members along with Horizon Turbo Chase from July 2 to August 5.
This also applies to Japan, Asia, and Europe where Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 was expected to launch as a free game, but it has been replaced now with Detroit Become Human. The second game has been left untouched so for Europe/America, it will be Horizon Chase Turbo. For Japan, it is Caligula Effect Overdose while for Asia, it is Aegis Defenders.
