If you are a fan of the Resident Evil games, these movies are pure fan-service that are full of action, virus outbreaks, and crazy bio-weapons. Almost every movie has starred Leon while the first one also had Claire. The most recent one had Leon, Chris, and Rebecca and it ended on a cliffhanger.
Judging from the way Capcom is interested in making these CG movies that appear to coincide with a new mainline game’s launch, a new Resident Evil movie is reportedly releasing in 2021. This will be called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness and will be out in 2021, or the year when Resident Evil 8 is releasing for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
The trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was leaked early by Netflix Portugal. It might make its debut on Netflix which has previously released older CG films like Resident Evil Vendetta.
