So what sparked this rumor? It was the release date of the game. The Medium is launching on September 3rd. This is typically the date when most fans are expecting to get new PS Plus games. It is the first Friday of the new month though, while PS Plus games typically drop on the first Tuesday/Wednesday of every month.
What Are The PS Plus Games for September 2021
Bloober Team has confirmed that The Medium won’t launch on PlayStation Plus, so what about the potential lineup for next month. It is possible that some of the new games that are confirmed to release earlier in September could launch as part of PlayStation Plus. We have seen this with games like Wreckfest, Hunter’s Arena: Legends, and so on. We don’t know if the upcoming games will be free, but one of the names that are being dropped online, and speculated is for F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch.
Little Nightmares 2 is another game that is set to receive a free PS5 update soon, and it is possible that just like A Plague Tale: Requiem, we might get the PS5 version for free as part of the new update.
