The Outer Worlds is a fairly demanding game so it is no surprise to see the game struggle to run on the Nintendo Switch. It has been possible thanks to a downgrade of the visual quality which is obvious in the comparison screenshots shared below.
From the comparison, it can be seen that most of the visual effects have been toned down while the overall image is softer with a lower resolution. The textures appear to render at low quality with visible aliasing indicating a low resolution as well. It could be a decent compromise if the game runs well enough with its performance. We have to wait for the full game to release before determining if this is a decent port.
