Netflix is bringing The Witcher series to their streaming platform based on the books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. This Netflix adaption has received its first look for Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer.

The Witcher has been first adapted into a series of successful video games by polish game developer CD Projekt Red and that’s how it managed to land a deal for Netflix, who decides to bring it as a TV series to their streaming platform. The difference is that the TV Show is based on the books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, while CD Projekt Red has taken their own creative liberties when adapting it in a video game.
