The next-generation version of The Witcher 3 will offer faster load times and ray-tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series X, in addition to PC.
Here is a description of the next-generation version as shared by CD Projekt Red.
Developed to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware, the next-gen edition of the game will feature a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content.
In addition to new enhancements for the PC version, CD Projekt Red is also adding support for HDR for the PC version with this update. There is no release date for this update but just like Cyberpunk 2077, it could arrive sometime later in 2021.
