ARC Raiders is introducing a new Reward Pass progression system with the Frozen Trail update on October 8, replacing the existing Raider Decks with a more structured way to earn rewards. Players will be able to complete Feats to progress through passes and unlock outfits, cosmetics, weapons, gadgets, items and Raider Tokens.
The new system is designed to address issues with Raider Decks, where players could accumulate large amounts of Cred and immediately complete new decks when they were released. Reward Passes instead tie progression to the update they launch with, giving players a longer progression path through the new content.
Frozen Trail will launch with two Reward Passes: the Frozen Trail Reward Pass and the Legacy Reward Pass. The Frozen Trail Pass features 60 levels and is divided into Free and Premium tracks.
The Free Pass includes the new base outfits alongside cosmetic items, weapons, gadgets, other items and up to 200 Raider Tokens. The Premium Pass adds premium toggles, modifications and colourways for the new outfits, as well as exclusive legendary weapon stencils, hairstyles and up to 1,150 Raider Tokens. It does not include gameplay-affecting items such as weapons or gadgets, which are available through the Free Pass.
The Premium Pass costs 1,150 Raider Tokens, meaning players who complete the entire track can earn back the currency spent on it. Meanwhile, the Legacy Pass brings the cosmetic rewards and Raider Tokens from previous Raider Decks together into one free progression track. Rewards that players already unlocked will remain available, while the rest can be earned through the Legacy Pass.
The Frozen Trail update will also introduce the Collector Set DLC for players looking for additional cosmetics and rewards. It includes the Renzo cosmetic set, Dragon’s Breath Weapon Stencil, Bob Hair Style, 2,400 Raider Tokens and access to the Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass.
The DLC also contains an exclusive Retro Sofa for the Raider Outpost and the only blueprint for the new Banjo musical instrument.
