Arma Reforger Best Settings Guide For PC

Arma Reforger can be a demanding game so we have gone through the in-game menu to pick up the best settings for your PC. It’s out and in the hands of gamers across the globe, and as one would expect, it’s a pretty demanding game, given its large-scale battles. As such, we’ve put together a guide that should give players a good starting point to optimize the game for their respective PC hardware.

These settings should provide a frame rate boost over the Quality presets available in-game in Arma Reforger. Begin by setting the Quality preset to Medium. Next up, set the Window Mode to Borderless Fullscreen, as it provides better performance compared to Windowed mode. From here, adjust the remaining settings as per those listed below.

As discussed earlier, these settings are meant as a general baseline. Therefore, depending on your PC specs, you may have to turn up or turn down some of the settings until you hit a sweet spot based on your display’s refresh rate and the average performance you’re looking for.

Additionally, FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0 can be enabled to further boost frame rate. However, it does come with a hit to image quality. Arma Reforger does not support FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 as of writing, though there’s hope that it would be added with a future update.

Arma Reforger places a strong emphasis on multiplayer, with competitive and cooperative game modes showcasing large-scale infantry and vehicle conflict. As such, a high frame rate and high visibility is of the utmost importance for a competitive advantage. These settings have been put together with both aspects in mind.
