Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Graphics Comparison Shows PS5 Pro Holding Its Own Against PC

by Salal Awan

A new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced graphics comparison has examined the game across PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and PC, showing consistently strong results on every platform while highlighting a clear visual advantage for Sony’s upgraded console.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced includes three display modes on consoles, matching the options available in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Quality Mode improves ray tracing, level of detail, water rendering, hair quality, and several other visual features.

Performance Mode on the standard PS5 and Xbox Series X retains a solid level of ray tracing, with only ray-traced reflections being reduced. On PS5 Pro, Performance Mode delivers image quality comparable to the Quality Mode available on the standard PS5 and Xbox Series X, making the visual improvements easier to spot on the enhanced hardware.

The PC version is also reported to be well optimised. According to the comparison, an RTX 3050 can run the game at medium settings above 30 FPS, while RTX 50 series graphics cards can deliver maximum settings with smooth performance thanks to DLSS support.

The comparison also shows that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced provides stable performance overall and uses a more polished engine than Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ubisoft has delivered an experience that performs well across every platform.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launched on July 9, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Developed primarily by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft, the remake revisits the story of Edward Kenway as players explore an updated Caribbean open world with enhanced stealth, combat, and naval gameplay.
