Baldo: The Guardian Owls Update 1.10 Adds Balanced Difficulty Level

by Salal Awan

Baldo: The Guardian Owls is the first game from indie studio Naps Team. They have just released the first major patch for the game.

The game didn’t manage to do well with critics and the word of mouth wasn’t that hot. While the Steam reviews are mixed so far, the developers are continuing to release patches to implement some of the fixes for issues that have been reported so far. The first major patch has been released today, on October 24.

This patch appears to add a Balanced difficulty level among other changes that were mentioned by the developers on their Steam support page.

Baldo: The Guardian Owls Update 1.10 Patch Details

  • Indoor improved Dungeon Maps
  • Outdoor improved Maps
  • Moving Block inside Savoca Prison
  • Balanced difficulty level
  • No death in water/heights
  • Quests and Sidequests points of interest on maps
  • Stamina bar
  • minor glitches/bugs fixed

The game was panned for its difficulty and uneven game balance. The deaths were considered unfair for the game so the developers appear to have taken this feedback to heart. After the patch is downloaded, you won’t die inside water or fall from heights. There is also a new difficulty level to make the game appear balanced and not too challenging or easy.

Baldo: The Guardian Owls is available now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
