Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has confirmed its playable line-up for Gamescom 2026, with visitors getting hands-on access to Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 and The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The publisher’s stand will be located in Hall 6.1 at booths A20 and B021, where all three games will be available to play during the event. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will both make their public debut in playable form, while The Blood of Dawnwalker will host its first open hands-on sessions.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will allow attendees to experience the latest entry in the long-running flight combat series ahead of its launch on October 2, 2026. Developed by Bandai Namco Aces Inc., the game follows an ace pilot fighting to protect their homeland in what the studio describes as its most cinematic campaign to date. It is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will also be playable for the first time in Europe. The action RPG invites players to create their own hero and explore a new world inspired by original Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. Combining role-playing elements with fast-paced combat, the game is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2027.
Fans of dark fantasy will also have the opportunity to try The Blood of Dawnwalker. Developed by Rebel Wolves, the open-world action RPG is set in a 14th-century fantasy world and follows Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker who exists between humanity and vampirism. Players’ choices throughout the adventure will shape his efforts to save his family from the vampire ruler Brencis in the land of Vale Sangora.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled to launch on September 3, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Gamescom attendees will be the first members of the public to play the title during the event.
