Battlefield 6 Update 1.4.1.5 Brings Gameplay, UI, and Stability Improvements

Electronic Arts has detailed Battlefield 6 Game Update 1.4.1.5, a smaller quality-of-life patch focused on improving gameplay reliability, presentation, and overall consistency across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. The update launches on August 4 at 8 AM UTC.

This release addresses issues affecting deployment, aiming, vehicles, Challenges, maps, Portal, UI, audio, and stability. It also includes several fixes designed to improve the Multiplayer and Battle Royale experience.

Patch Notes

Player

  • Improved aiming down sights transitions with Sniper Rifles while suppressed when playing as a class other than Recon.
  • Soldier models, HUD, and UI elements now appear more quickly after deploying into a match.
  • Soldiers no longer play the Falling Man Down animation after briefly falling into water.
  • Fixed a duplicate crosshair briefly appearing when entering or exiting aiming down sights.
  • Fixed an issue allowing players to become stuck or pass through a stone foundation wall on Iberian Offensive.

Vehicles

  • Thermal Smoke Discharge now correctly damages nearby enemies when a vehicle is positioned on a slope.
  • Fixed Main Battle Tank Canister Shells incorrectly changing into Aim-Guided Shells when switching between primary and secondary weapons during a reload.

Weapons

  • Fixed an issue allowing the 1P86 Variable Scope to be used while operating an underbarrel launcher.
  • Underbarrel attachment models on the M123K now update correctly when changing equipped attachments.

Progression

  • Fixed the Season 3 Catch-Up Hardware Challenge for the PP-19 so Suppression Assists earned with SMGs now track correctly.

Maps and Modes

  • Players now spawn correctly during the PAX insertion sequence in Breakthrough on Tsuru Reef.
  • Fixed unintended level geometry becoming visible after destroying the building next to the Palace on Cairo Bazaar.
  • Railway to Golmud pylons now remain visible at medium distances, improving visibility for pilots.
  • Fixed visual corruption near Objective C on Tsuru Reef that could cause intense flashing effects.

User Interface and HUD

  • Campaign Options can now be opened from the Select Difficulty screen.
  • Console players can now like Portal experiences.
  • Fixed the Frontline Fixer character skin displaying with incorrect texture quality.
  • Removed an unintended placeholder sticker from the weapon Stickers menu.
  • Fixed the Loadouts screen appearing blank after returning to the Weapon Package menu through a Battlefield Pro Challenge deep link.

Portal

  • Supply Crates in Portal Battle Royale now remain synchronised after a player crashes and rejoins the match.

Stability

  • Fixed a PC issue where certain NVIDIA graphics cards could experience driver crashes when changing attachments on the SOR-300SC, using Custom Search, or playing on maps with large bodies of water.

REDSEC

Vehicles

  • Tanks in Battle Royale no longer remain stunned when entered immediately after sabotage ends.

Audio

  • Fixed the Battle Royale lobby join sound effect repeatedly looping while a match was starting.

Battlefield 6 is an online-only first-person shooter developed by Battlefield Studios and published by Electronic Arts. Released on October 10, 2025, the game is available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Update 1.4.1.5 launches on August 4 at 8 AM UTC.
