Resident Evil Veronica Hits 2 Million Wishlists

Resident Evil Veronica has surpassed 2 million wishlists across all platforms, reaching another major pre-release milestone ahead of its launch. Capcom confirmed the news through the official Resident Evil account on X.

The publisher celebrated the achievement with the message: “2 million biscuits for the 2 million of you who’ve wishlisted Resident Evil Veronica. Thank you!”

Resident Evil Veronica reimagines Resident Evil Code: Veronica, following Claire Redfield as she searches for her missing brother, Chris, three months after surviving the Raccoon City outbreak. After being captured by Umbrella Corporation forces during a break-in at a Paris facility, Claire is imprisoned on the virus-infected Rockfort Island, where she must survive while uncovering the secrets of the Ashford family alongside fellow inmate Steve Burnside.

The survival horror game focuses on resource management, puzzle-solving and exploration, while retaining the tense atmosphere that defined the original release.

The latest milestone continues Capcom’s strong momentum ahead of recent Resident Evil launches. Resident Evil Requiem reached more than 1 million wishlists within three weeks of its reveal before growing to more than 5 million ahead of release. Resident Evil Veronica also crossed 1 million wishlists in less than a week following its announcement, surpassing Requiem’s initial pace.

Combined with strong player numbers across platforms including Steam, the Resident Evil Veronica 2 million wishlists milestone highlights the continued demand for both new entries and modern remakes in Capcom’s long-running horror franchise.
