Activision has unveiled the full details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded, with the mid-season update set to launch on June 25 across Multiplayer, Zombies, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Endgame.

The update introduces new maps, modes, weapons, events, and gameplay features, while also bringing back the fan-favourite Champion’s Quest in Warzone and adding a brand-new round-based Zombies experience.

In Multiplayer, players will gain access to Zenith, a new map set within a luxurious cliffside compound, alongside the return of Launch, a remastered version of the classic map from the original Black Ops. Two new modes are also arriving. Team Blueprint Sharpshooter rotates weapon blueprints throughout a match while rewarding elimination streaks, while Knife Fight focuses entirely on close-quarters melee combat.

Activision is also making Black Ops Classic a permanent playlist. The nostalgic mode will expand with the addition of four more classic maps: Launch, Fringe, Hacienda, and Gridlock.

Zombies players will be heading to Kowakujō, a new round-based map set within a feudal Japanese castle located deep in the Dark Aether. The story sees the crew searching for the final Shadowsmith while battling supernatural enemies in a landscape surrounded by volcanoes and fire.

The map introduces the electrified Oni, a powerful enemy wielding a kanabō war club, alongside new variants of Hellhounds and Scorched Zombies. Players will also gain access to a new Wonder Weapon, an additional legacy weapon through the Mystery Box, and several gameplay additions including the Hellping Hound GobbleGum, Ghostly Rifleman Trap, and a new Main Quest offering rewards and experience points.

Warzone is receiving several updates of its own. Squad Gun Game arrives as a new limited-time mode, challenging teams of three to progress through every weapon before their opponents. Buy Back Quads will also return later in the season as a weekend event.

The highly anticipated Champion’s Quest is making its comeback for elite players. Squads that qualify can take on a multi-stage challenge culminating in a special endgame sequence designed to secure victory and demonstrate mastery of the battle royale.

Meanwhile, Rebirth Island is shifting back to a summer setting. Winter conditions are being removed, bringing brighter weather and updated visuals while retaining newer locations introduced in previous seasons.

The Endgame co-operative mode is also expanding with Operation King Killer, a new mission that tasks players with infiltrating the Guild’s defences and destroying its Central Command Node. Completing the operation with different characters unlocks exclusive weapon camos, including an animated variant for those who finish the challenge with all three available operators.

A new Guardian Skill Track is also being introduced, alongside fresh Exotic and Nightmare Skills and the Psych Grenade, a new ability capable of disorienting enemies with hallucinogenic effects. Activision confirmed that Endgame will remain free to play through the end of Season 05.

Across all modes, players can unlock several new weapons and attachments. The update adds the dual-wielding Executioner’s Duet melee weapons and brings back the iconic AN-94 Assault Rifle, complete with its signature burst-fire mechanic. New attachments include the XR-3 Ion Vulcan Minigun, DS20 Mirage Dual Fire Kit, and Velox 5.7 Carbine Chassis.

Season 04 Reloaded also introduces a series of new events. Actor Nicolas Cage headlines the seasonal Summer of Action event pass, accompanied by daily login rewards, ranked play events, and the Kowakujō event. Players can earn weapon camos, XP boosts, loadout items, and additional rewards throughout the season.

The in-game store will receive new bundles featuring Ultra, Reactive, and Mastercraft cosmetics, including the Tracer Pack: Ironclad Mastercraft Bundle, which contains the “Chronovox” Mastercraft blueprint for the AN-94.

Activision also confirmed plans for a limited-time free trial, allowing players to experience Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies content at no additional cost. The trial will include the new Zenith and Launch maps, along with the Kowakujō Zombies experience.

Finally, Activision congratulated British Army Esports for winning the Call of Duty Endowment Bowl VII during San Diego Race Weekend. Gibbo earned the Monster Energy MVP award, while TeeP secured the USAA Solo Yolo title for the second time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded launches on June 25.
