Gameloft has announced that Bluey’s Happy Snaps will launch on PC and consoles on October 15, 2026, giving fans of the animated series a new family-focused adventure centered around photography and exploration. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one and will support Xbox Play Anywhere.
Developed by Gameloft Brisbane in collaboration with Bluey producers Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, the game is being created in Brisbane, the Australian city where the series is set. Players will explore locations inspired by Bluey’s world while taking photographs and collecting memories for a personal scrapbook.
The game allows players to accompany Bluey and Bingo as they use Dad’s old camera to capture different moments during their adventures. Up to two players can explore together, with the experience designed around open-ended play and giving children freedom to decide how they interact with the world.
Among the locations featured are New Farm Park, South Bank and Mount Coot-tha, which are based on settings featured in episodes including Spy Game, Ice-Cream and The Sign. Players will also encounter characters such as Muffin, Coco and Winton, along with other members of Bluey’s extended cast.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps also includes activities based on games from the television series, including Shadowlands and Magic Potion. Australian wildlife and other details drawn from Brisbane and the show’s setting are incorporated throughout the game.
Research conducted by Professor Daniel Johnson of Queensland University of Technology and the Digital Child examined the game’s approach to play and found that it supports children’s autonomy, competence and creativity. The review described the title as an example of developmentally enriching digital play, highlighting its focus on creativity, family interaction and opportunities for play away from the screen.
Preorders are currently available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC and the Epic Games Store. Customers who preorder digitally will receive the Deluxe Edition content at no additional cost for a limited time. The same promotion will be available on Steam when the game launches.

The Japanese digital release is also scheduled for October 15, while physical editions will arrive in Japan on November 26.
