Until Dawn 2 is reportedly priced at $89.95 NZD in New Zealand, potentially indicating an equivalent price of around $49.99 USD or €59.99 for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive.
The reported pricing comes ahead of the game’s scheduled release on January 28, 2027. Until Dawn 2 is being developed by Firesprite alongside AdHoc Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The game is a standalone sequel to the original Until Dawn and follows a film crew of online ghost hunters known as Dead True. Their investigation takes them to an abandoned island in the South Pacific, where their paranormal expedition develops into a fight for survival against supernatural forces.

The reported $89.95 NZD price would place Until Dawn 2 below Sony’s standard $69.99 USD price for major first party PlayStation 5 releases. The estimated $49.99 USD equivalent would instead put the game closer to the lower pricing tier sometimes used for remasters, cross-generation releases and smaller-scale titles.
Until Dawn 2 continues the franchise’s focus on interactive horror and branching narratives. The series originated with Supermassive Games’ 2015 PlayStation 4 title and is built around player decisions, quick-time events, environmental clues and choices that can alter relationships and determine which characters survive.
The franchise has since expanded beyond the original game through virtual reality projects, an enhanced remaster and a live-action film adaptation.
