Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Download Size Revealed, No Platinum Trophy On PS5

The download size for Activision’s upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, has been revealed alongside the information that the PS5 version will not offer a Platinum trophy.

PlayStationSize on Twitter has revealed the download size for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, courtesy of recent database entries made to PlayStation servers, while trophy specialist PowerPyx has shared that the PS5 version does not offer a Platinum trophy. Oddly enough, only the PS4 version is blessed with a Platinum trophy, while the PS5 version is treated as an add-on/DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The latest entry in the first-person shooter series will take up a large amount of storage space on PS5 and a surprisingly colossal amount of space on PC! Those with limited available space on the internal storage drive are advised to clear up space in advance.

As seen above, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 HQ download weighs in at over 73 GB on PS4 and over 89 GB on PS5. The install size is further bloated to 108.226 on PS4 and 140.003 on PS5 with the campaign installed. Additional space will be required to install the Multiplayer/Zombies modes.

The pre-load for the campaign is now available on PS4 and PS5. It should come with the latest update pre-installed for those who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, though a day one update may be rolled out closer to launch on November 10, 2023. Meanwhile, those who purchased the game on disc will need to download the update.

Meanwhile, the install size for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a colossal 213 GB! Though, if you choose not to opt for high resolution assets, the install size drops significantly down to 149 GB. Furthermore, if you’re looking to play just the multiplayer component, the PC version’s install size comes down to 79 GB.
