Update 01.003.000 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to be released on PS5, and it aims to fix bugs and tackle other know issues.
The upcoming patch (via PlaystationSize on Twitter/X) is part of update 01.111.000 for the Call of Duty app on PS5, which includes update 01.003.000 for all Modern Warfare 4 Packs as well as updates for Black Ops 7 Packs. In addition, update 01.035.000 for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Warzone Pack has renamed it to Modern Warfare 4: Additional Content Pack.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 players on PS5 can expect several known issues to receive attention in update 01.003.000. These include problems affecting DMZ progression, Multiplayer Loadouts, in-game statistics, and Operator Prestige.
One reported issue prevents some players from purchasing Lieutenant Information on the Boss Board, making it impossible to progress the Information Power Order in DMZ. Another problem stops players from saving their Loadouts in Multiplayer, with the issue currently under investigation. Some players are also experiencing a display problem where their statistics do not appear in the Combat Record and Leaderboards. However, this is reportedly a visual issue only, meaning player statistics are still being tracked.
Additionally, an issue is preventing some players from Prestiging an active Operator in DMZ despite meeting the necessary requirements. A temporary workaround involves equipping Rare weapons with only three attachment slots, provided those weapons have never had 4 or more attachments.
The recent October 29, 2026, update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 addressed multiple stability issues, menu problems, and gameplay bugs alongside a series of improvements for both Multiplayer and DMZ. It fixed several issues affecting weapons, challenges, and player progression. DMZ received economy adjustments that increase cash rewards from Dynamic Ops, Side Ops, and Story Mission replays. Other fixes addressed the Scavenger’s detection behaviour, hostage interactions, extraction problems, and several exploits. The update also resolved various issues with Calling Cards, Quick Navigation, and Free Loadout selection.
