Capcom has kicked off Tokyo Game Show 2026 with a new Spotlight presentation covering several of its upcoming and current games. The Capcom TGS 2026 broadcast included fresh gameplay details for Mega Man: Dual Override, a new collaboration for PRAGMATA, the return of Teostra in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, new Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen content, and details on Street Fighter 6’s next updates.
Mega Man: Dual Override received an extended look during the presentation, with director Shinya Ikuta and producer Hiroyuki Minamitani discussing Proto Man as the game’s second playable character. The presentation also introduced the Custom Chip and Override systems, which are designed to give players additional strategic options.
Capcom also revealed a free Mega Man Pack for PRAGMATA. The DLC adds Mega Man and Roll themed outfits for Hugh and Diana, alongside additional gestures and background music. The pack is available from September 15, while PRAGMATA is also receiving its first discount, reducing its price by 20 percent to $47.99 for a limited time. Mega Man: Dual Override is scheduled to launch in Spring 2027.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance also featured prominently, with Capcom confirming that Teostra will return as part of the expansion. The developer showed an extended version of its latest trailer and detailed the Boost Bracer, while also announcing gameplay improvements such as faster weapon swapping without a Seikret and the ability to change equipment outside tents using the Item Box.
These improvements will also be added to the base game. Monster Hunter Wilds launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2026, with physical pre-orders already available and digital pre-orders beginning October 19.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen received a new trailer focusing on the story and enemies found in Norgan. Players can now preview the expansion’s new character customisation options through the updated Character Creation & Storage tool, although those options will not become available in the main game until the expansion launches.
The expansion arrives on October 9 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC for $49.99. It will also be sold separately for $29.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
Street Fighter 6 was another major part of the presentation. Arjun, the second Year 4 character, will arrive on October 13, alongside C. Viper’s new Outfit 4. Capcom also revealed a tie-in with the upcoming Street Fighter movie, allowing players to redeem special New Challenger images featuring characters from the film.
Capcom additionally highlighted the ongoing Resident Evil 30th Anniversary celebrations and announced that 23 classic games are now playable through Capcom Town until November 1. The selection includes Street Fighter II: The World Warrior and can be accessed directly through the Capcom Town website on mobile or PC.
