Pearl Abyss has shared new details on an upcoming update for Crimson Desert, confirming that the patch will arrive within the next few days and introduce several new gameplay features.
In a message posted through the game’s official social media account, the studio outlined some of the update’s major additions. “The update will be released within the next few days and will include new special mounts, an extraction feature that will allow you to recover materials used in equipment refinement, and more,” the team said.
While full patch notes have not yet been released, the extraction system appears designed to give players a way to reclaim resources previously invested into gear upgrades. The update will also add new special mounts, though additional details on their functionality or availability have not been confirmed.
Pearl Abyss closed the announcement by thanking players for their continued support and expressing anticipation for the upcoming release. “We hope you’re looking forward to this update!” the studio said.
Crimson Desert launched earlier this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and macOS. Set in the fantasy world of Pywel, the game follows mercenary Kliff through a large open world shaped by conflict, exploration, and fast paced combat systems.
