IO Interactive has released updated PC specifications for 007 First Light, revealing new Enthusiast and Ultra hardware targets ahead of launch.
The newly shared requirements outline performance expectations across multiple presets and resolutions, ranging from 1080p at 30 FPS on low settings to 4K gameplay at more than 200 FPS using DLSS 4.5 technologies.
For minimum specifications, players will need an Intel Core i5-9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 alongside a GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5700 with 6GB of VRAM. This setup targets 1080p at 30 FPS on low settings.
The recommended configuration raises the target to 1080p at 60 FPS on medium settings, requiring an Intel Core i5-13500 or Ryzen 5 7600 paired with an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT.
At the Enthusiast level, the game targets 1440p at 60 FPS on high settings using an RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT with 12GB of VRAM. IO Interactive also outlined a separate 4K high settings target requiring either an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX with 16GB of VRAM.
The newly revealed Ultra preset is designed for 4K gameplay at more than 200 FPS with DLSS 4.5 enabled. This configuration requires an Intel Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 7 7700X, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 5080 with 16GB of VRAM.
Across all configurations, the game requires 80GB of SSD storage and Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit. IO Interactive also confirmed that DLSS will not be enabled for the Minimum, Recommended, and Enthusiast categories.
In a statement accompanying the reveal, the studio said, “The team has been hard at work over the past few months and we are thrilled to reveal the Enthusiast and Ultra specs for 007 First Light.” The developers added that the game will support “an uncapped framerate, in addition to NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation for great image quality and smooth performance.”
The studio also confirmed that path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction support will arrive in Summer 2026 as part of a future update.
Alongside technical features, IO Interactive highlighted a broad range of accessibility options, including subtitle customization, menu narration, input remapping, audio profiles, and multiple control adjustment settings.
