Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed that a new update for Starfield is scheduled to release next week across all platforms.

In a statement shared on social media, the studio said the patch will focus primarily on technical improvements and gameplay fixes. “Another Starfield update is planned to release next week on all platforms,” Bethesda stated. “Full patch notes will be available, but this will target multiple crash and stability issues and several gameplay fixes.”

The developer also thanked players for their continued support while encouraging users to continue reporting problems through Bethesda’s support channels. “We appreciate your patience and continued support, and encourage you to continue submitting your info at http://help.bethesda.net if you encounter any issues,” the studio added.

Originally released in 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, Starfield later launched on PlayStation 5 in April 2026. The space themed role playing game is set across a large section of the Milky Way galaxy and centers on exploration, ship travel, combat, and resource management.

While Bethesda has not yet provided full details on the upcoming patch, the update appears aimed at improving overall stability and addressing ongoing technical issues reported by players since launch.
