Crusader Kings 3 Update 1.19.0.5 Fixes Story and Gameplay Issues

Crusader Kings 3 update 1.19.0.5 delivers a range of bug fixes targeting story progression, gameplay systems, and UI issues introduced after the Scribe update. Several problems preventing story cycles from starting or completing have been resolved, improving campaign consistency.

The update also refines AI behavior, fixes interaction inconsistencies, and corrects multiple edge case bugs related to titles, travel, and character systems. Smaller UI fixes and adjustments further enhance overall stability and usability.

    • Now only allows duchy targets when the seller fully controls the duchy
    • Fixed land distribution issue when used by landless characters
  • Fixed custom title names resetting in Title History after ruler death
  • Fixed AI characters being unable to upgrade knight accolades
  • Fixed Rites of Passage refunding gold or prestige when cancelled
  • Fixed Renewed Caliphate ending
    • Administrative rulers now correctly receive Subjugation casus belli
  • Fixed concubine system limitation
    • Characters at concubine limit can now offer concubines to others
  • Fixed UI issue in Character Panel after loading multiplayer saves
  • Fixed incorrect title and government type display for Japan starting characters
  • Fixed travel system issue
    • Characters now return to original location when travel plans are cancelled
  • Fixed infidelity broadcast issue occurring in real time
    • Note that pregnancies started in version 1.19.0.4 may still trigger this behavior
