Cyberpunk 2077 Next-Generation Version Reportedly Dropping Tomorrow
CDPR is going to release the next-generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 tomorrow. The game can be seen in the Xbox Series X optimized list.
CD Projekt Red has an announcement planned for tomorrow, February 15. They haven’t revealed the details around this announcement, but there have been quite a lot of rumors that suggest that they might be able to announce the release date of the next-generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 during this announcement.
While this is not a big surprise since they had already confirmed the PS5 and XSX release of CP 2077 for Q1 2022, the game might apparently launch tomorrow, or in other words, the free upgrade is coming tomorrow. There is already a PS5 version listed on the PlayStation Database.

This was seen thanks to a user who has discovered that CP 2077 is now listed as Xbox Series X compatible on the Microsoft Store. The upgrade is still not live, obviously, but the game being added to the list makes it certain that CD Projekt Red might release the next-generation upgrade tomorrow during the event.
In addition to offering a next-generation upgrade, they are also planning to release free DLCs for the game and release an expansion pack that will further add to the story and gameplay. Despite its criticism that the console version of CP 2077 has received, the game still managed to sell well and did great on PC where it is considered one of the top 5 all-time launches on Steam.
