Danganronpa 2×2 PC And Console Specs Revealed

The PC and console specifications for Danganronpa 2×2 have been revealed ahead of the game’s release on January 14, 2027. The upcoming visual novel adventure will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S.

On PC, the minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-14400 or AMD Ryzen 5 4500 processor, 8 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. The game requires Windows 11 64-bit, DirectX 12 and 40 GB of available storage.

The recommended PC configuration raises the requirements considerably. Players will need an Intel Core i7-14700 or AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processor, 32 GB of RAM and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, alongside the same 40 GB storage requirement.

Console Specifications

The console versions have different resolution and performance targets depending on the platform. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game runs at 1920 by 1080 resolution in both TV and handheld modes, with a variable frame rate ranging from 30 to 60 FPS. The Switch 2 version requires 14.5 GiB of storage in Japan and Asia, or 14.8 GiB in North America and Europe.

The original Nintendo Switch version runs at 1920 by 1080 in TV mode and 1280 by 720 in handheld mode, also targeting between 30 and 60 FPS depending on the scene. Its installation size is approximately 9.77 GiB in Japan and Asia and 9.96 GiB in North America and Europe.

The PlayStation 5 version supports 3840 by 2160 resolution and targets 60 FPS, while the Xbox Series X/S versions also target 60 FPS. Xbox Series S is listed at 1920 by 1080, while Series X supports 3840 by 2160. The PC version can also reach 60 FPS with the recommended specifications.

None of the listed versions supports HDR. The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC versions support 4K, while Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 do not.

Danganronpa 2×2 is being developed by Gemdrops and Too Kyo Games and published by Spike Chunsoft. The game serves as an enhanced remake and retelling of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, following 16 talented students whose tropical island trip turns into a deadly killing game orchestrated by Monokuma.

The game will allow players to experience the original storyline or an alternate narrative featuring different victims, motives and plot developments.
