Mintrocket has released a third mini update for Dave the Diver: In the Jungle, addressing player feedback following the expansion’s launch and outlining several features planned for future updates.
In the video, the studio thanked players for their continued support before detailing improvements already released and content currently in development.
One of the immediate priorities has been performance on Nintendo Switch. The developers confirmed that a recent patch was released to improve stability and reduce crashes, particularly on the original Nintendo Switch hardware, with the goal of delivering a smoother experience.
The team also acknowledged feedback surrounding the expansion’s ending and the lack of activities after completing the main story. Mintrocket said it is preparing a future update that will better explain parts of the narrative while introducing additional uses for crafting materials collected during the late game.
Looking further ahead, the studio said it has heard requests from players who want more traditional diving-focused gameplay. As a result, it is exploring future updates and downloadable content centred on ocean exploration, shifting some attention back to the core diving experience that defined the original game.
Mintrocket also confirmed it is investigating official mod support for Dave the Diver. According to the developers, the feature is still in the exploration phase but is intended to give players more freedom to create their own experiences, inspired in part by community-made multiplayer mods that have already appeared online.
The latest update follows the release of Dave the Diver: In the Jungle, which launched on June 18, 2026, introducing a new freshwater setting, additional story content, restaurant management features and side activities across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
