Destiny Child: Assemble Announced for Global Release in 2027

Com2uS has announced Destiny Child: Assemble, a new game based on the franchise, as part of the IP’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The publisher has also launched a teaser website featuring the first video for the upcoming title, which is scheduled to arrive globally on iOS and Android in the first half of 2027.

Developed by Tikitaka Studio, a Com2uS subsidiary, Destiny Child: Assemble will continue the original game’s story and universe. Com2uS is handling global publishing, while SHIFT UP, the company behind the original IP, remains the franchise’s owner.

The upcoming release is an idle RPG that combines individual character stories with collection and progression systems. It will include the original game’s main storyline and side stories, alongside new narrative content. The developers also aim to retain the characters and defining qualities of the original while making the gameplay more accessible.

The original Destiny Child attracted a dedicated following through its presentation and large character roster. It featured more than 500 characters and was the first mobile game to use Live2D technology across all of its content, according to Com2uS.

The word ASSEMBLE in the new game’s title refers to the reunion of the Archfiend candidates, the name given to players in the original. Com2uS says the title also represents reconnecting with fans who have been waiting for the franchise to return, with the new game set to begin another story within the established universe.

The first teaser video is available through the newly launched website. It shows the Hades Flower, a sacred relic from the original game that gives new life to beings, beginning to bloom. The imagery represents the return of the Destiny Child IP, while dialogue in the video hints at a reunion with its fans.

Com2uS plans to share further information about Destiny Child: Assemble through the teaser website and the game’s official X account ahead of its global release in the first half of 2027.
