Diablo 4 Switch 2 Release Date Leaked for September

A new report has claimed that Diablo 4 will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 next month, although the information has yet to be confirmed by Blizzard. The leak comes from Dealabs and should be treated as a rumour until an official announcement is made.

According to the report, the Diablo 4 Nintendo Switch 2 version is expected to release on either September 15 or September 18, 2026. Dealabs said it could not yet verify which of the two dates is correct, but believes the game will arrive on one of those days.

The report also claims the game will receive a physical retail release, though only as a Code in a Box package containing a download code rather than a game cartridge. Pricing is said to be set at €69.99, $69.99 and £62.99.

Dealabs added that it has not been able to confirm whether the Nintendo Switch 2 edition will include the Lord of Hatred expansion by default, with that detail still being verified.

Developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo 4 first launched in June 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The online action RPG is set in Sanctuary, where players battle the returning demon Lilith while exploring an open world, completing quests and collecting increasingly powerful gear.
