Electronic Arts has unveiled The World’s Game Update for EA Sports FC 26, bringing a major international football expansion to the game on May 28, 2026. The update introduces a brand-new 48-team tournament mode, expanded national team support, Football Ultimate Team changes, gameplay balancing updates, and new Career and Clubs content inspired by the summer’s international competitions.
One of the biggest additions is the introduction of FUT Tokens, a new reward system designed to give players more flexibility across multiple game modes. The update also reworks Team Press behavior, adjusts several PlayStyles based on community feedback, and adds more than 100 new international players alongside fresh ICON content.
