A new leak suggests Ubisoft could be preparing a return for the Rayman franchise, with a reported logo for a project titled Rayman Legends Retold surfacing online.
The alleged leak comes from social media user “asdf,” also known as @intercelluar, who has previously been associated with leaks tied to projects involving Assassin’s Creed, Fortnite, and Overwatch. Although it was not explicitly stated, this could be a remake of Rayman Legends based on the logo. The user also mentioned that this is a “New game (Project Steambot),” likely referring to the internal codename.
When asked whether additional materials existed for the rumored Rayman project, the leaker claimed to possess “bunch more screenshots, skins & concept arts” but stated they would not share them because “an announcement is near.”
Ubisoft has not commented on the authenticity of the leak or confirmed the existence of a Rayman Legends Retold project.
The Rayman series originally debuted in 1995 under creator Michel Ancel and became one of Ubisoft’s most recognizable platforming franchises. After transitioning between 2D and 3D gameplay styles across multiple generations, the series received renewed acclaim through Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends in the early 2010s.
Released in 2013, Rayman Legends remains one of Ubisoft’s most critically praised platformers, known for its hand-drawn visual style, cooperative gameplay, and rhythm-based music stages. Despite ongoing fan demand, the franchise has remained largely dormant for years outside of smaller crossover appearances and mobile projects.
Ubisoft previously stated that it was exploring ideas for a larger-scale Rayman revival following the character’s anniversary celebrations, though no official project has been announced so far.
