Astro Duel 2 is a sci-fi combat game that combines top-down space dogfights with up-close platforming action. Players can engage in versus or co-op modes, battling through space and on foot simultaneously. The arenas are fully destructible, allowing you to use various tactics, including orbital strikes.
Game modes include Versus Mode, which allows up to 6 players with full bot support, and Bounty Mode, which offers a 1 to 3 player co-op adventure. Players can pilot the elite Nano Fighter, seamlessly transitioning between space flight and ground combat. There’s a selection of unique ships, each with distinct play styles and advantages. In Cash Grab mode, teams defend or steal a safe, then purchase equipment between rounds. Combat options include heavy cannons or lasers for space threats, and slashing or shooting as a pilot to deal with enemies on land. Players are given the opportunity to take advantage of the fully destructible levels in creative ways.
