Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Gets New Footage and Comparison For PS5

Square Enix has released a new video showcasing an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and its visual upgrade on PS5.

During a live stream hosted by PlayStation Japan, the game’s producer Yoshinori Kitase talked a bit about the upcoming PS5 version which also has a brand new DLC starring Yuffie.

During this segment, they showed an extended version of the original announcement revealing new gameplay and comparison between the PS4 and PS5 versions. This included a look at the brand new photo mode.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be out on June 10, 2021. It will be a free upgrade for owners of the original Final Fantasy 7 Remake but those who have claimed it on PS Plus won’t be able to benefit from it.

In addition to offering a free upgrade, there is also a paid DLC for Yuffie that will be a part of the native PS5 version but those who upgrade from PS4 to PS5 will have to purchase it separately.

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE expands upon and reimagines the spectacular world of the original PlayStation® game. It covers up through the escape from Midgar and is the first game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project. INTERGRADE is a bundle that includes both REMAKE and the new episode featuring Yuffie. In her episode, play as the spirited ninja after she arrives in Midgar. There, she and another Wutaian operative are to rendezvous with Avalanche HQ, infiltrate the Shinra Building, and steal the conglomerate’s most powerful materia.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be out on June 10, 2021, exclusively for the PS5. It can be pre-ordered for $69.99 while there is no official price confirmed for the Yuffie DLC as of yet.
