Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade PS5 Visual Enhancements Shown In New Screenshots
Square Enix has shared new screenshots from Final Fantasy VII Remake highlighting the visual enhancements and improvements made to the game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an enhanced version of the original game that is out exclusively on the PS5. It will run at a higher resolution, frame rate, and also sport visual enhancements like better fog, lighting, and high-quality reflections.
Square Enix has sent a press release that reveals these new enhancements and also shared details on the Yuffie Story DLC.
To get a rundown of the new visual enhancements, they include enhanced fog effects, improved lighting, while certain textures have been upgraded to the highest resolution. The upcoming PS5 version will also include a Photo mode letting the fans capture their favorite moment in the game.
In addition to this, they are also revealing more details on the upcoming Yuffie DLC that will be exclusive to the PS5 version. It is not possible to play this DLC on the PS4.
As we have covered earlier, this upcoming DLC episode that will feature Yuffie has two chapters. It will feature a playable Yuffie along with a new character named Sonon.
Yuffie
- A ravishing beauty
- A world-class materia hunter
Yuffie Kisaragi styles herself as both, but she’ll need to use all of her skills as a member of Wutai’s elite corp of ninja operatives to sneak into Midgar.
Sonon
Sonon trained under Yuffie’s father and harbors a deep resentment for Shinra, following the devastation caused by the war between Shinra and Wutai.
He has been assigned to work with Yuffie as she infiltrates Midgar – essentially making her his boss.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is confirmed to launch on June 10, 2021, exclusively for the PS5. Those who have the PS Plus version of the game won’t be able to upgrade to the PS5 version, while those who have the original game or the Deluxe edition can claim this free upgrade but they will have to purchase the Yuffie DLC which will be available separately from the PlayStation Store.
