Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Yuffie Story Length Revealed
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will come with a Yuffie Story DLC. This is a new expansion of the base game that adds a playable character and additional content.
While Square Enix hasn’t verified the length of this DLC, we now know how many chapters will be included in it thanks to a listing on the official PlayStation Store.
The US version of the PlayStation Store simply gives the following description for the Yuffie DLC.
FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE expands upon and reimagines the spectacular world of the original PlayStation® game. It covers up through the escape from Midgar and is the first game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project. INTERGRADE is a bundle that includes both REMAKE and the new episode featuring Yuffie. In her episode, play as the spirited ninja after she arrives in Midgar. There, she and another Wutaian operative are to rendezvous with Avalanche HQ, infiltrate the Shinra Building, and steal the conglomerate’s most powerful materia.
Meanwhile the official website describes the new DLC as follow.
The new episode featuring Yuffie is a brand-new adventure in the world of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE. Play as Wutai ninja Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates Midgar and conspires with Avalanche HQ to steal the ultimate materia from the Shinra Electric Power Company. Play alongside new characters and enjoy an expanded gameplay experience featuring multiple new combat and gameplay additions. This adventure brings new perspective to the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE story that cannot be missed.
However, the description is different on the German PlayStation Store.
How Long Is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Yuffie Story DLC?
The listing on the German store also reveals the length of the new story DLC confirming that it will feature two chapters and also include a boss fight, which could be Weiss, the mysterious character that is seen at the end of the Intergrade reveal trailer.
In INTERGRADE, you’ll also get an episode from the point of view of the ninja Yuffie, who, together with her partner, goes to Midgar and joins forces with the main Avalanche group to wrest its Ultimate Materia from the Shinra corporation. Experience two chapters separate from the main story and a new exciting battle in the battle simulator!
For reference, there were a total of 18 chapters in the base game but the length of the chapter varies so even if there are two chapters in the Yuffie Story DLC, they can be as long as 5 hours or as short as under 1 hour.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be out on June 10, 2021, for the PS5.
