Fortnite PS5 Exclusive Skin Has Leaked Through Datamine

Fortnite will get PS5 exclusive skins that are apparently obtainable once the user logins into their Epic Games account using a PlayStation 5.

Sony and Epic Games have collaborated in the past with exclusive skins and other cosmetics items for Fortnite users on the PS4 and for subscribers of PS Plus. They appear to continue this partnership with the launch of the PS5 as well. They are offering exclusive skins for Fortnite players who will get the game on the PS5.

We have our first look at these skins thanks to a datamine of the recent update. These exclusive skins were also hinted by a popular Fortnite leaker.

The following cosmetic items will be exclusive to the PS5 version. You can check it in the album above.

  • Cloud Striker – Soar beyond the horizon.
  • Elevation – Don’t let gravity hold you down.

Apparently, they can be unlocked if the player logins into Fortnite on their PS5. In addition to these exclusive skins, Epic Games has also shared details on some of the upgrades for Fortnite on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The game is confirmed run at 4K and 60 FPS and will offer a variety of visual upgrades on the next-generation consoles. Fortnite will also support activities on the PS5.

Fortnite supports PS5’s Activities, starting with the ability to go straight into the Battle Royale Lobby with either Solo, Duos, or Squads selected. Once in the Lobby, choose to queue up for your selected mode.

Progress is confirmed to carry over from PS4 or Xbox One. In addition, as a free bonus, Throwback Axe Pickaxe will be available in the game until January 21, 2021.
