Epic Games has released a hotfix patching Fortnite to version 2.59 on PS4. Here’s what you need to know about this brand new update.
Fortnite users can download a new update today for the PS4. This update addresses a matchmaking issue that was introduced in the last patch as revealed by Epic Games on reddit.

“We’ve released a maintenance patch on PlayStation 4 to address performance. We’re also working on performance improvements for all platforms. Thank you!”
Epic Games is also working on offering performance improvements for all other platforms. This includes Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Smartphones. They have a Trello listing for the community issues that are currently being worked on after the launch of the 12.00 update.

“We’re aware of reports of FPS drops since v12.00 and are working on improvements, ” says the listing.
