The trailer for Frozen 2 was just released by Disney. It is the sequel to an animated movie from Walt Disney Pictures that grossed more than a $1 billion at the worldwide box office, so there is bound to be some hype behind it. This has led to the trailer achieving record amount of views within 24 hours of its release.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the Frozen 2 trailer has now surpassed the views achieved by Incredibles 2 within 24 hours of release. It did this by getting viewed 116.4 million times across all social media channels compared to the 113.6 million that was achieved by Incredibles 2. The movie then went on to gross more than $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office so it would be easy to peg the same performance from Frozen 2.
Frozen was a huge hit not just at the domestic box office, where it made more than $400 million, but it was popular worldwide, especially in Japan where it ended up becoming on the highest grossing animated movies. The sequel sees the return of Else, Anna, and the rest of the cast as they make their journey in a new territory.

The theme this time appears to revolve around seasons as we can clearly spot autumn leaves and forest. Perhaps the snow-filled premise of the original is gone now although Elsa still has her powers that she uses like a superhero in the trailer.
Frozen 2 will hit theatres on November 22, 2019.
