Here Are The Games Coming To & Leaving Xbox Game Pass By End Of August 2023

The list of games coming to and leaving Microsoft’s premium game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, by the end of the month of August, 2023, have been revealed. The subscription service is ending the month with plenty of games for fans to look forward to.

The new games to be added to the service this month include Everspace 2, Firewatch, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Sea of Stars, and more.

Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass By End of August 2023

The full list of Xbox Game Pass Games for wave 2 of August, 2023 are as follows:

  • Everspace 2 (Cloud and Xbox Series X|S) – Available today
  • Firewatch (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 17
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 18
  • Sea of Stars (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 29
  • Gris (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 5

Prominently featured among the latest additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalogue is Firewatch, is an adventure game developed by Campo Santo and published by the developer in partnership with Panic. The game was initially released for Linux, OS X, PlayStation 4, Windows, and later for Xbox One in September 2016, as well as for Nintendo Switch in December 2018. The narrative revolves around Henry, a fire lookout stationed in Shoshone National Forest, a year subsequent to the 1988 Yellowstone fires. As his tenure unfolds, a series of enigmatic occurrences unfurl, entwining him and his supervisor Delilah in a web of intrigue dating back several years.
