Gears of War: E-Day October 14 Patch Fixes Campaign, Horde Siege and Versus Issues

by Ali Haider

Gears of War: E-Day has received a significant update on October 14, addressing bugs and performance issues across Campaign, Horde Siege and Versus. The patch improves stability and memory management on PC, Xbox and handhelds, fixes account linking and login problems, and resolves an issue that incorrectly assigned players to Ranked skill divisions.

The update also tackles several progression blockers, splitscreen issues and gameplay bugs across the game’s different modes. Players should be aware that missing collectibles and certain campaign rewards cannot be restored automatically, although the developers have provided workarounds for recovering missing rewards.
