Previously, it was reported that God of War Ragnarok is the most nominated game at The Game Awards 2022. To be exact, the game has been nominated in a total of 10 categories, including Game of the Year.

Besides being nominated in the Game of the Year category, God of War Ragnarok is also nominated for Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, Best Audio Design, Best Performance (Christopher Judge as Kratos and Sunny Suljic as Atreus), Innovation in Accessibility, and Best Action / Adventure Game.

Meanwhile, Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West are at a tie in second place with a total of 7 nominations each, followed by Stray with 6 nominations, and A Plague Tale: Requiem with 5 nominations. As we’ve seen in the past, though, the number of nominations doesn’t necessarily guarantee that a game will win big.

The Game Awards airs Live on Thursday, December 8 at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT. The Show will be available to see across all major digital, social, and gaming platforms around the globe.

God of War Ragnarok is now available on PS4 and PS5. For an early look at God of War Ragnarok’s Photo mode, which will officially arrive in a future update, follow the link here.
