GreedFall The Dying World patch 1.2 resolves crashes, quest bugs, and stability issues

GreedFall The Dying World patch 1.2 focuses on improving overall stability while addressing a wide range of crashes reported across gameplay scenarios. Several problem areas, including fast travel, specific quests, and platform-related issues, have been resolved to ensure a smoother experience.

In addition, the update tackles progression blockers, AI behavior inconsistencies, and missing audio issues. While not content-heavy, this patch is clearly aimed at refining core systems and eliminating friction points that could disrupt player progress.

Stability and Performance

  • Fixed multiple crash scenarios during gameplay
    • Resolved crashes after loading an autosave on the boat and using the dock during a quest
    • Fixed crashes when repeatedly crossing combat boundaries in Olima Underground Complex
    • Addressed crashes during fast travel from Constanzia
    • Fixed out of memory crash when selecting first teleport option to Deutan Embassy
    • Resolved crash occurring during specific quest conditions
    • Fixed audio related crash during fight after Kurnaz cutscene
    • Addressed crash when accessing Bridge Alliance pier on AMD GPUs
  • Fixed crash when switching Xbox accounts while the game is running
  • Improved stability during fast travel sequences
  • Reduced excessive loading times

  • Fixed issue where Sniffing out a Necklace could fail due to missing NPC
  • Corrected objective update issue when guard was eliminated in stealth before Baren
  • Fixed progression blockers affecting multiple quests

  • Fixed issue where player could become trapped in restricted room during Ludwig quest
  • Resolved issue where companions repeatedly asked player to wait at camp

Save System

  • Fixed issues causing loss of progress during gameplay
  • Resolved problems preventing saving under certain conditions

Audio

  • Fixed missing sound effects and dialogue audio issues

Achievements

  • Fixed issue preventing All for one one for all achievement from unlocking during main quest progression

GreedFall The Dying World is an action role playing game developed by Spiders and published by Nacon. The full version launched on March 10, 2026 for PC, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X S on March 12, 2026.
