Halo Studios has confirmed that Halo: Campaign Evolved has officially gone gold ahead of its release later this month.

The announcement was made through the official Halo account on X, which posted: “#HaloCE is OFFICIALLY GOLD and Early Access begins on July 23.”

The milestone means development on the game has reached the stage where the launch build is complete ahead of release. Players with Early Access will be able to begin playing on July 23, five days before the full launch.

Halo: Campaign Evolved releases on July 28, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by Halo Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios, the game is a full remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.

The remake follows Master Chief’s battle against the Covenant on the iconic Halo ringworld while introducing expanded weapon options, redesigned levels and three brand-new prequel missions to the original campaign.
