Forza Horizon 6 July 13 Update Fixes AI, Cars, and Gameplay Issues

The latest Forza Horizon 6 update is now available across Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Steam. The patch delivers a wide range of fixes covering AI behaviour, gameplay, audio, visuals, vehicles, and overall stability.

Alongside numerous bug fixes, the update resets all Rivals leaderboards after exploits resulted in unrealistic lap times. The developers also shared an update on the ongoing investigation into save data issues affecting some players.

Patch Notes

General

  • Performance and stability improvements.

AI

  • Reduced excessive AI collisions when entering corners (Bug 4388349).

Audio

  • Improved overall audio performance.
  • Fixed an issue where changing Speech Volume also affected GPS Voice (Bug 4356829).
  • Improved radio music track rotation (Bug 4327383).
  • Added new stock exhaust audio for the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia.
  • Added new race exhaust audio for the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB.

Cars

  • Fixed an issue where kerbs could cause the 1995 Toyota MR2 GT to come to a complete stop (Bug 4426504).
  • Fixed an issue where Treasure Cars could disappear from My Cars (Bug 4425400).
    • Players who removed Treasure Cars by accident should submit a ticket to Forza Support.
  • Fixed an issue where the Credit cap was incorrectly applied to non-Auto Show cars in the Auction House (Bug 4403320).
  • Adjusted the value of the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version to better reflect its price (Bug 4388342).

EventLab

  • Fixed an issue preventing players from using Rewind in Free Drive (Bug 4377375).
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate other players’ EventLab creations (Bug 4460100).

Gameplay

  • Fixed an exploit where removing a locked tune during a PR Stunt allowed unrealistic scores in a lower car class (Bug 4390806).
  • Fixed a black screen that could appear when starting a Monthly Rivals event through the Test Drive feature (Bug 4395847).
  • Fixed the LINK Clean Sweep Skill not registering in the Collection Journal (Bug 4402867).
  • Fixed the “Convoy leader registered your Convoy for an event” notification remaining on screen after completing an event (Bug 4376387).
  • Fixed an issue where disabling Head-To-Head Requests in a session also disabled them in The Eliminator (Bug 4447380).
  • Fixed an issue where Hide & Seek players were not receiving Level XP (Bug 4372539).
  • Replaced the 2021 Alumicraft #122 Class 1 Buggy with the 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck in The Eliminator (Bug 4378156).

Visuals

  • Fixed an issue where exhaust vapour did not always appear at the correct exhaust location (Bug 4425411).
  • Fixed chrome paint producing a flat finish when applied over plastic materials (Bug 4380657).
  • Fixed Manufacturer Preset colours displaying incorrectly when a livery was applied (Bug 4379802).
  • Improved visual issues caused by certain clothing combinations, including clipping.

Leaderboards

  • Reset all Rivals leaderboards due to unrealistic entries created through exploits (Bug 4443235).
  • Legitimate Rivals rewards already earned for the Collection Journal will remain unlocked.
  • The team is investigating exploits affecting PR Stunts leaderboards.
  • A complete PR Stunts leaderboard reset is planned after the related fixes are released.

Save Issues

  • Continued work is underway to reduce save data loss across all platforms.
  • Xbox updates released for Xbox Series X|S and PC, including the latest update on July 2, improve save reliability.
  • Players experiencing save data loss will now receive a conflict dialogue when launching the game.
    • Selecting the Cloud save option restores the most recent cloud save.

Forza Horizon 6 is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game launched on May 19, 2026, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with a PlayStation 5 version scheduled to arrive later this year.
