Disney has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts D23 will be part of this year’s D23 event, with a dedicated presentation celebrating 25 years of the long-running action RPG series. The event runs from August 14 to August 16, while the Kingdom Hearts session is scheduled for August 15 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM PT.
Titled “Deep Dive into KINGDOM HEARTS,” the presentation will look back at the franchise’s history and explore how it brought together Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix. According to the event description, attendees can expect insights from the creative team, character voice actors, and others involved with the series.
The official description reads: “Join us for a journey through light and darkness as we commemorate 25 years of KINGDOM HEARTS. Discover how this saga united Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix, with insights from the creative minds, character voices, and more behind the magic.”
The announcement comes as fans continue to await more news on Kingdom Hearts D23 following the recent gameplay reveal of Kingdom Hearts 4 during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct. Square Enix has confirmed the game will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
