Halo Infinite Playlist Update Confirmed For December 14
343 Industries has confirmed a new playlist update for the Halo Infinite multiplayer that will arrive on December 14 through a service update.
While the multiplayer beta for Halo Infinite has been available since November 15, fans were able to access some special modes that were only playable offline. These were later confirmed to be added to the game with an update post-launch.
Now that Halo Infinite campaign is out since December 8, the developers are starting to focus on updating the game. They have shared some details on the new Halo Infinite playlist update on reddit.
“Hey everyone – Last weekend I said I’d be back once we had updates to share around near term playlist plans for Halo Infinite. I’m happy to report that a Slayer playlist is officially locked and loaded for the update next week. Four new playlists: Slayer, Fiesta, FFA, and Tactical Slayer (SWAT) will all be added via a services update on Tuesday, Dec. 14, ” reads a post from the community manager.
“As I noted last week, the team’s original plans for a Slayer playlist included a variety of new variants that weren’t going to be ready in time to deploy before the holiday break. To address player feedback for Slayer in the near term, we’ll be releasing a basic Slayer offering to start and will look to bolster and expand with more variants in a future update.”
The developers also mention that they know some players are facing issues in the Big Team Battle mode and they are investigating it. You can expect to see it resolved with an update soon.
