Killing Floor 3 Update 1.0.0.16 Adds Onslaught Map and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Tripwire Interactive has released Killing Floor 3 Update 1.0.0.16, introducing the Onslaught Update and a brand-new map for players to conquer. Set within Horzine’s abandoned training grounds beneath Umezu, Onslaught challenges squads with confined spaces, environmental hazards, and relentless combat encounters where retreat is rarely an option.

Alongside the new map, the update delivers several quality-of-life improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. Players can now skip the tutorial, enjoy faster matchmaking and Hub transitions, and benefit from stability improvements designed to reduce crashes and gameplay hitches.

Tutorial and Hub Updates

  • Added the ability to skip the tutorial for new players.
  • Single-player games no longer require a ready-wait before leaving the Hub.
  • Single-player matchmaking no longer requires a ready-wait before matchmaking begins.
  • Multiplayer matches now skip the ready-wait if all players vote to proceed.
  • Players now respawn in place when changing perks within the Hub.

Bug Fixes

Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where boss health UI values could drop dramatically due to client-side prediction errors.
  • Fixed an issue where the Trader Trail did not correctly lead players to a Trader Pod during Trader Time.
  • Fixed an issue where a stale Trader Time timer prevented the Ping Trader feature from functioning correctly after skipping Trader Time.

Progression Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some crafting daily and weekly challenges did not award Specialist XP correctly.

Killing Floor 3 is a cooperative action-horror first-person shooter developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. Released on July 24, 2025, the game is available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Update 1.0.0.16, released on June 16, 2026, introduces the new Onslaught map, quality-of-life improvements, performance enhancements, and several gameplay fixes.
